Revenue sharing is a benefit of this forum which allows the users who start a thread to share the revenue raised by the thread via adsense.

There are two simple steps to follow to share revenue:

1. Enter your adsense clientID into your user profile. (user client ID is found by searching the text of your adsense code for the user ID code. It should start with pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx)

2. Start a thread.

Once this has been done, you can sit back and wait for the money to roll in. When anyone else clicks on the adsense ads in your thread, you have a 30% chance that your ad will show in the adsense block.

Does Google allow this?
Research suggests that there is nothing in this that is not allowed. It does not contravene any of the Google TOS. Others have contacted google about this, and have received similar replies.

Is my AdSense Client ID a secret that only I know?
The only info we need for it is info that is publicly available if you look at the source of any page that has your AdSense ads.

Why does the HTML source on posts I've made never show my AdSense Client ID.
Your own AdSense Client ID will never be shown to you (as long as you are logged in).

This is to prevent people from unknowingly violating the Adsense terms and conditions.

if i have started a thread already will this still work the same? Will I still get the 30%?

Yes. As soon as you enter your Adsense ClientID, all posts made by you (even the ones made previously) will start to revenue share.
